Anyone know of a higher quality pitman arm? I've already replaced mine recently and it's already getting loose, might have been loose since it was put in but I had other issues so it would have been hard to notice. I've come across Cognito arms but they don't make one for this year model, the best I've been able to find is Pro Forged.

Any help is appreciated!

I’ve had Pro Forged in for about a year and rock solid still. I’d take a look at the Cognito Braces and try and find a SuperSteer Idler Bracket. You won’t regret it.

+1 i had the problem solver moog idler arm,i don't think it fit the SuperSteer idler bracket taper very well as it never felt right it looked to shift slightly and could be felt driving (the old one was still good and didn't do this with SS bracket),also the moog's idler is bigger.but the proforged was way more solid feeling and still is i tested both idlers studs when new under force the moog had some give. proforged was solid

they are coming out with a kryptonite idler arm and bracket this year though.

The problem is up until 92, the idler arm bracket only had two bolts. Starting in 93 it had the much sturdier three bolt bracket.

The Cognito braces and super steer idler bracket are for only for 93 and up. 92 an earlier are kind of SOL. That being said, I think proforged are the strongest arms out there for our applications.

Sounds like Pro Forged it is and if I want more I can consider converting to rack and pinion

They are talking about the Pitman arm not the idler arm
