I would like to get the exhaust and sound system done by the end of June.

These are some of the sound system components I’m looking at. I know that some of y’all have a lot of experience with this stuff. Any opinions?

I ended up pulling the factory sub out of the parcel shelf and running a 12 in the trunk.
The highs and head unit were done before I bought it. Some high end pioneer head unit.

If it was my car, I would purchase the front door speakers as a 5 1/4 component set. The Alpine type s components are about the same price as the setup you put together. That way the tweeters are designed to work with the woofers and compliment them.

The radio is whatever you feel comfortable using. I personally would spend a little more on a nicer radio. It called the source cause that's where the sound starts, and you wanna start with good clean power and it has some perks. Everyone says they don't need bells and whistles, until the have bells and whistles. I know Kenwood has a nice touch screen for around $280.

Please don't "stance" your Lexus. If you do you'll have to put a "panty dropper" bumper stick on it and blow vape smoke out the window at every stop light.

I do like the idea of a mild drop. Subtle, but clean, and it's one of the few performance mods you can actually make on that car.

I'd only lift it if it were a basket case and I wanted to take it on the Gambler 500, then it would be awesome in an "IDGAF" way.

But it's your car, and those are just my opinions.

Years ago, I towed a riced-out Civic that had stickers (more than 1) on it that said "I stretch tires and p****y" - but the car was only dropped a little bit, not stanced, and had stock-ish wheels and tires on it. No stretched tires (or p****y) to be seen. It was a clapped POS that had grand visions of being that "Civic with the passenger on the laptop" in the imaginary street racing scenario popularized on the innerwebs..

I’m not a stanced guy in the least. It has no perks. But I’ll get less body roll, better traction, and such with the coilovers. I need to replace the struts anyways as it likes to wander around at highway speeds.

As for the lift…I’m a truck guy. I don’t like ridiculous lifts, but at the same time, a small lift on a V8 luxury sedan would be awesome in my books. I’m a big redneck out here around San Antonio. We like such things.

That being said. If you had told me 10 months ago that I would own a Lexus and be lowering it, I would have laughed at such an absurd thought. But I’ve realized there are more great vehicles than just GMT400’s. Though they’re still my favorite!

I’ll look into that! Thank you for the advice.

Saw that other LS400 at whataburger when I went for breakfast. It was a 1993 stock engine slightly modified exhaust with super wide wheels.
