Just curious, can the Arteb headlight itself be mounted into the OE bracket?

The factory lights wont have the clearance for the city lights of the Artebs. Also, I dont think the Artebs match up well with the pin retainers of the OEM Sylvania brackets.... unless that was the TYC brackets, but I did want to use the original brackets at first, but found it was more fiddling than it was worth. Short answer is use the Arteb brackets with Arteb lights.

Getting close to getting my headlights installed. Just to confirm the bracket with the LE part number is for the drivers side, correct?
Also, is there any reason my bracket has packaging tape on it? Can I remove that prior to installation?

I’m not near a set of Artebs, so I can’t answer the question by comparison to one of mine.

I will say that the bracket you showed with the tape on it (which Carlos must have added before shipping for reasons unknown) appears to me to be the right (passenger) side bracket. The tape should be removed prior to installation.

You will find the Arteb brackets are VERY similar to the OE (or most / all other mfgr’s) brackets that may already be installed on your truck. One cannot, however, reuse those brackets b/c they’ll almost certainly interfere with the “city light” fixture which protrudes from the back of the Arteb reflector (as @454cid noted).

Thank you. Yes the bracket with tape is the LD part number and the one I believe to be the passenger side.

“Left / right” in Portuguese is “esquerda / direita”.

The bracket marked LE is left and that marked LD is right.

LE = “lado esquerdo” = “left side”

LD = “lado direito” = “right side”

Today was the day.
I tapped into the running lamps for the 'city' lights, I used a 2 sided bright LED. Not necessary, but I can't leave an empty hole. The install went ok but for one pivot post (not adjuster) where the screw head poked through and I had to set it back in place. I used teflon bicycle grease (waterproof, plastic safe) for the adjuster screws and gearboxes. Happy the fitment, probably won't drive at night for a while yet for a performance review.
Edit:
Holy Crap.

You won't find anything better unless you fit rally lights!
Nice bright low beams, good sidewalk light with no oncoming complaints!
High beams, well they're just magnificent. Huge range with adequate spread to catch the deer eyes far enough away to slow down.
I do have my lights relayed which makes a big difference in any case, but just dang.

Well I think I should make a post here. I can 100% agree with the sentiment of them being the best halogen housings available for these trucks. I know they were supposed to come pre-aligned but my passenger side one was way off so had to adjust it, but dialed in the low beams are great and the high beams are just a pure straight spotlight down the road. And on top of all that, they just simply look great lol
