Well I started on my injector an lower manifold gasket replacement today an realized I made a bone head move last week. As I was unhooking the TB I was asking myself why are there 2 cables? Ya this truck has cruse :doh2: I bought the switch without it because A that's what was there an B its a W/T, so I didn't expect it to have cruise. Guess I can stop researching how to add it now.

Anyway she's all torn town, parts are on the way an I'm taking the valve covers upper an lower for a good cleaning before the reinstall. Also the FPR we did about a year ago is only getting about 52 psi so I have an adjustable one of those coming as well. It wasn't holding pressure at all an reeked of gas when I pulled the upper plenum so I think I'm on the right track.

Icky nasty evaporater. Why they didn't use cabin filters I'll never understand. I bet it would have smelled great if I could have used the a/c.

Took the box as far apart as I could, an cleaned an hosed it out. All new doors in this section, new evap and heater core. Got it all back together but I need some foam tape to go on the distributor to vents area before I can put it back in...

My evaporator look just like that. Not only the smell think about all the efficiency you'd lose
Definitely, I never was able to tell if the ac worked because the mode doors were all busted. Apparently it didn't because when I pulled the lines the system was empty but still I bet it barely worked an probably froze up alot.

While waiting on parts decided to install my precut tint kit. Got the back side windows done, went to pass front an ran out of install fluid and messed up that piece. :doh2: So back to waiting. At least the back ones look decent....

They match the factory rear glass pretty decent so idk if I'll layer the rear or not.

Lower intake back on, new lower gaskets, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, distributor, thermostat, injectors and a adjustable fpr.

Now back to the dash swap so I can check for fuel leaks am set the fuel pressure before buttoning up the intake.

Didn't update yesterday but got the hvac unit back in. Dash was cleaned, epoxied where needed, harness transfered and installed. All wires hooked back up an it's ready for the tilt column. That was a bunch of work there...

Today is cold an rainy off an on. I got the upper intake ready to go back on (TB, egr, evap, brackets etc) an made 1 good tilt column out of the 2. I was trying to move my ignition switch and housing over to keep the passlock system happy but I broke the end off the key cylinder that has the release button so I need another one now anyway. Oh well I also needed an extra ignition key for a spare so at least the new one comes with two.
