Crappy weather every weekend has been hindering work, but I did manage to get a few interior pieces painted.

Like the satin finish much better than the high gloss I have on the dash. I bought some satin clear to fix that though. Just need a decent weekend.

Finally got some decent enough weather to make some more progress.

You'd never know that jump seat used to be Tan.

Hope to at least get the carpet fitted tomorrow. Still need to run the power wiring for the seats. Got a 10gauge wire I'm going to run to the battery, with a 30amp fuse on it, and a small distribution block to split it to each seat, plus the power outlets in the jump seat. Doubt I'll use them much, but they'll work if I need them.

On the lights you did in the fenders. Did the bolt holes match up between the led and the lenses? I have some quadstar ones on order but I like your solution better for long term since my stock sockets an lenses are all busted up too. Do you have the info on where you got the led's?

I used these, but originally bought them for a trailer. I had to cut off the mounting flanges, and carefully trim more off the length, to get them to fit inside the OE lens. They've worked good so far. Probably some higher quality lights out there, that would work. Went this route because it was cheap, my lights weren't in the best shape, and was a fun little project.

Seen the quadstars, but don't like the idea of a single light, with all that dead space around it. You could make them yourself, for a fraction of what they're charging for those. I'm tight with my money, when I know I can do it just as good, or better, for less money.

A little wavy at the back, but once the seats are in, you'll never see it. Got to pick up a piece of carpet to do the back of the cab.

I need to find another driver side door, and hoping to switch to power windows, so haven't touched my ragged out door panels. Might get this interior finished one of these days.

Getting closer to being done, but still seems like a lot more to do.

Carpet on the back wall.

And the seats as well.

Got everything all wired up, even have the power ports in the jump seat working. Need a newer radio, so I can make use of the USBs.

Now to seriously start looking for some doors.

Looks mighty sharp, I like the black/dark gray interior on a silver truck!

I am wondering if you have driven much with these seats yet? I ask because I would like to do something similar, but wonder if losing the 'bounce' in the oem seats will make it harder on your body while traveling. I am not at all trying to bash your truck, as I think that those seats (and your truck) are pretty awesome.

I have driven a good bit, and like the seats. The truck rides like a wagon, but will be addressing that too.

The seats are firm, but comfortable. One thing I haven't seen anybody mention anywhere is, the backs of these seats are thicker than OE gmt400. Because of this, a person that is 6' tall plus, and maybe a little chunky in the middle, would hate these seats in a regular cab truck.

I'm 5'10", about 190lbs, and I think that's pretty close to max, with these seats, in a regular cab truck. I should also mention, I like a little recline in my seat, so that's definitely playing a role. If a person didn't mind sitting straight up, it would allow more room, for sure.

I love these seats, and glad I made the swap. They would be even better in an extended, or crew cab.
