Hello all, I've been surfing around the forums and love the wealth of info and great community found here! I am the owner of a 1995 C1500 Cheyenne 4.3l with a 5-speed manual. Thanks to the wealth of knowledge on here, I've discovered I own the "one off" model year, how about that? I scooped it up around the end of 2020 for what was then and definitely now a bargain of $2000. I absolutely love this truck! Odometer read 93,000 miles when I bought it, it now is around 107,000. I do quite a bit of driving between it and my DD, an 08 VW Jetta, another fantastically reliable automobile. I'm often commuting between New Orleans and my place just under two hours north in the pine boonies of MS. I've ran into some minor driving issues recently with the truck so as a result I've been under the hood quite a bit. However, I've been getting all my ducks in a row to check off all the normal tuneup items and recommended procedures before creating a thread in search of help. Hopefully I can get it sorted myself through determination and perseverance and perhaps a bit of luck since I have no formal training in auto mechanics but am quite handy in lots of other ways, soo challenge accepted. Thanks for having me and I really enjoy getting to see what else others are up to with their trusty GMT400s.
Cheers y'all!

Welcome! Another '95 owner here. "Training" is overrated. You can do just about anything you set your mind to with a little bit of curiosity, aptitude, and perseverance. Good luck! Now let's see some pictures...
