Sorry. You're right.

91, Chevy k1500, reg cab, short box, maroon interior.
The complete front door panel should fit. If the color matches then better. However you will have to remove the panel from the door to get the the wood look trim pieces. I would buy all four door panels and sell what I didn't need. I don't think that the Ecalades interior ever came in grey or any color that came in trucks but since your truck is a reg cab grab as many trim piececs and just change the interior color if you were so inclined. Or just paint the panels to match. Lots of options. As time passes trim parts are going to get really scarce and you might need a replacement and you could paint the panels then .

@Cadillac Bob could confirm this, but I think the Escalade interiors are all gray/neutral, and the Denali ones are a darker gray. Seats in the Denali are two tone gray, they look nice if you can find good ones!

So all 400 Escalades are shale/light light tan/ bone color. Denali’s are 2- tone grey regular grey found in all 400’s with a darker grey so depending on your interior color tan or grey will determine your upgraded door panels. But to really do it right you need the chrome door handle I’ll look though my older pictures and post what I’ve done. So I finally read the thread lol so yes find a GOOD pick n pull or set of Escalade/Denali panels IF that’s what you want? Yes both came with wood on the top side of the inner cloth part but you have older interior with square dash im not sure they’d fit!! But you could try but some conversion companies put light colored wood on the panels also so best you know what you want! Here’s couple pictures of mine but like mentioned above you may have to do a full swap but get every trim piece you can as to not fall short of a specific piece! But good luck you may have to buy a whole donor for that but idk and interior is hardest part of 400 Escalades! Are these the panels you saw?

But having actual non grey/tan interior should be hard to find nowadays since idk how many of them were made but I’m sure lots less than G/T interiors!

Some of the Escalade SUV's, similar to the tahoes, I have seen are more of a cream color. The console I got was grey but when taking it apart the color looked off. I applied some water based paint stripper and turns out it was painted grey the original color like my 96 Silverado but a lighter shade of grey. I bought some 96 Tahoe seat and the plugs are the same for the driver side only one more wire for the heating element. The passenger side has 6 pins but I got the plugs and as much wiring as I could for both sides.

So Denali’s also had the center console with the wood but were 2-tone grey and some were 2-tone tan n brown but I’m not sure if they were just press release photos? But here’s a few pics of Denali interior and just seen these door panels too and what looks like a full interior as just off that one pic both are on eBay so I just screenshot them if you’re looking for something extra.

Oh yeah and I would reuse your normal door switches with tweeters vs the wood insert it just doesn’t look as good as in the “shale” I call “bone” color of Escalades plus that’d be only wood on door panels vs Escalade has upper wood to compliment but you lose your tweeters unless you do so modding. Lol hopefully you just unbolted the center console as one huge piece vs having to take it all apart to get it out of donor? You may want to grab Bose radio out too with wiring as that bottom underneath the wood of console is the Bose subwoofer.but put up some pics of what you have and before n after pics too!

Did you ever find any good ones. I bought a set of Coverlay and they are junk. Cheap, thin plastic and the carpet is barely glued on.
i think what gives the coverlay ones the "junk" feel is that they arent covered in a padded material like the OEM, its just the molded plastic. i bought the coverlay ones because they came in black. some trimming had to be done to the precut holes for the switch console though. other then that im happy with them
