Hey guys, I’m trying to fit Astro lower control arms to replace my on my 98 k2500. Somebody else seemed to have good success with this, but there is this post-looking piece bolted into the old ones and I’m trying to identify it, any help would be most appreciated.

I would replace with new sway bar end links. They’re cheap enough.

But I have to ask, why do you want to change your forged LCA for some chinesium pressed ones?
They look good in your picture?
Isnt it better to just change bushings and ball joint?

He’s right, I bent the press I got trying to get the lower ball joint out, then cracked the LCA trying to smack it out with a mallet.

Where'd you hear about Astro control arms? You can use their knuckles for upgraded front brakes on a 1500, but I don't see how a van control arm would be remotely compatible with a 2500.
