Yup. I currently have three postings on marketplace, and zero hits so far.

I always include the following line, and I follow it. "** IMPORTANT ** If you only reply with "Is this still available?" I will ignore you. Let me know you're not a bot." If somebody texts back with just "Is this still available?" I completely ignore them. If they're really interested, they'll figure it out and get back with you.

Flakey sellers? I'm guessing people needing a quick buck, but suffering from executive dysfunction or afraid of letting go.

Holy cow! Does anyone really want to sell their stuff when they list it on farcebook?
Another one in California that we've messaged so basic info and I gave him my number and asked him to call me. Guess what? You got it nothing.
Well the guy that I referenced above did finally get back to us and a deal has been made. Saturday will be about an 800 mile journey. It is a 6.5 diesel with the dual tanks and the flatbed is very nice.

Good luck with the purchase, and wishing you safe travels!
Thanks! We're going to take our 2000 Suburban and a trailer down to pick it up. It'll probably be one of the heaviest loads we've done with that poor girl. I know that I towed a K2500 454 Suburban and it scaled at 16,500 pounds. @ccreddell borrowed our Burb and trailer to tow a ECLB K3500 6.5/NV4500 from Rexburg, ID (almost to Montana) to Grants Pass, OR.

That has been a damn hard working 1500 Burb with over 300k and I have all of the receipts from the original owner to prove that it is somehow on the original 4L60E. Absolutely amazing.

Some of us got lucky on the transmissions....I hope mine continues! 216K on my Burb; not much towing but LOTS of city driving in Houston.

Well it happened! For those of you playing the at home game "it" isn't smoking the tranny in the burb!
"It" is that we purchased our 3500hd.

We did throw it on the trailer behind the Burb but the braking wasn't stellar and we couldn't get the 3500hd far enough forward to not get sway as soon as we hit 45. Safety is obviously more important so we said screw it and just hit the road with the intention of getting as close to home as fast as we could because my wife can't drive in the dark. The obvious solution was to toss the Burb on the trailer and tow it behind the 3500hd but the trailer is a 2 5/16" ball and the 3500hd had a 2" ball that wasn't on a reciever, untested wiring and no trailer brake controller and we were trying to avoid that.

Then the plan was to ditch the 3500hd in Redding, CA and return tomorrow to bring it home. We were less than 1/2 mile from Williams, CA when it ran out of fuel while showing just under 1/4 of a tank. It was a giant pain in the r³ctum of a rabid squirrel on espresso to fire back up. It killed the batteries and just couldn't get it to prime. Finally I resorted to using a gasoline soaked rag over the air intake and after about a dozen attempts we finally got it to work enough air through to run. Unfortunately there was no way that we were going to make Redding before dark. I left my wife, burb, trailer and sweet old chocolate lab in Williams while my boy and I headed on a 20 mile round trip to buy a trailer ball and the tools to change it. We got it done, loaded up the Burb and headed north.

Here is where safety came into play again. We were up at 4:30am and it was now 8:00pm and we needed food when I looked down at the gauges and realized that they looked blurry. Nope! Not having any of that! We pulled over in Corning and found a taco truck and searched for pet friendly hotels near by. This is where we'll be until tomorrow when we are back to 100%.
