This morning I pulled my outer wheels off to make sure my spacers were still tight (they were) and installed valve stem extensions on the inners so I can finally monitor my air pressure.

Don't those screw up your balance?

if You have a home compressor, look at lowes and see if these are still on sale. This plus the $1.50 adapter to connect to my air hose and I’m in business and able to easily check the inners For less than $13 out the door. And it’s hella faster than an electric 12v compressor. Think seconds vs minutes.
next time you have the tires off though, get the rigid metal one and have them point back out the opening. ITT really does help. Still a pain to not drop the cap, but otherwise super easy.

mine are dynamically (beads) balanced. Definitely the way to go on a dually. Get up to about 15 mph and they balance themselves out.

I didn’t feel any balance issues after driving it today. The main reason I went with the hose style extenders was because since I have to run spacers, I had to clock my wheels differently which makes it impossible to access the inner stem.

The time has finally come, the reaper has been creeping up on the Neverstart battery that was in the truck when I bought it. Decided to upgrade from the measly 550 CCA to a much better 800 CCA.

It’s been starting slower in the mornings since it got a little colder, but I didn’t think I was going to get it started this morning.

Would've been a good time to go top post. Side post have given me trouble on multiple vehicles, and always solved it by making the switch.

Does the bigger battery drop right in?
Any 34/78 battery should drop right in. I've got an Odyssey 1000CA/850CCA in my red truck, and two DieHard 900 CA/800CCA batteries in my crew; they fit in the battery trays just fine.

How do you like the Super Starts? I've been having a hell of a time with the DieHards in my 6.5.
