Buskinrobbins
Newbie
Ok I just plugged the TPS back in and sprayed brake cleaner all around the intake manifold where the upper and lower halves come together and around the injectors as much as I could. I did not hear any indication of a vacuum leak.
With the TPS plugged back in I played with it in the driveway for a bit going forwards and reverse, neutral, with and without using the brakes.
The symptoms come and go randomly, none of my inputs had anything to do with how it is acting.
The issue has to be either a sensor or the ECM. But which sensor?
I don’t think it’s a bad wiring harness or connection because the symptoms come and go erratically, like a sensor giving the ECM wacky numbers, or the ECM itself is bad.
I’m just thinking out loud here.
