In line tube makes a kit to change out the old lines and change them to neoprene. It eliminates all the rusty lines, installs in the stock brackets, and takes about 1 hr to install. Cost is about $99. I have installed about 20 of these kits and ZERO problems.
Good to know. I am going to do this on both of my trucks. Had my eye on the kit for a while now.

Did you have to drop tank?

You do not need to drop the tank. Just remove the straps, the filler neck clamp, and LEAN it while it is supported by a floor jack with a piece of plywood. You can then disconnect the old lines, and fish the new ones through the frame.
