I guess I missed it. What happened to the 'burb?
Got wrecked in August, not a lot of damage (was still totally driveable) but the first appointment I could get at my choice for collision repair shop (this is allowed in Texas) was November 7. They expected to have it for two weeks at the most, but supplier issues made it be a little more than a month. My build/maintenance thread, "Rawhide and The Burb" has more details. I've entered Rawhide in TOTM twice, so I thought I would give my other truck a shot. Next time....

I'm still trying to decide on a few things.
Like gold pin strips along the top body line, tc 4 in lift or a rc 6 in lift, winch front bumper or not just to name a few.
I still have about 14 more miles of wiring for the stereo and sound deadening I never got to last summer. Lot more stuff also but it is 9 deg right now and I'm to old for outside in that cold sh**.

I can't visualize it. Maybe someone can photo shop what you're talking about?

Looking at your Escalade again i see what you mean.
I will need to ponder that for a while before i commit to doing it. I have time though as that would be another thing on the long list of to-do's.
Next week it's going in the shop for the engine replacement. Keeping fingers crossed that all goes well!
Thinking of buying a daily driver beater with a heater so i can park this one and take a couple months to do all the work to it i want in the spring otherwise it will probably never all get done. After im done i could resell the beater for probably more than i bought it for as i would fix stuff on it also.

It's funny, I'm basically building a Yukon version of your suburban's color scheme. It already had the two-tone, but I bought some OEM fender flares from a yard, and plan on painting them the same gold color.

I also got a Z71 bumper with the fog lights and brush guard, and a paintable rear bumper. So it will have the gold color on the bumpers as well. Should look good, when it's done.

I honestly had a little bit of a hard time finding one last time. I slid in the rain a couple years ago and tagged the hitch of a truck in front of me. Needed a new front bumper.

I ended up finding it here, just in case you have the same trouble finding one.
