I'm new this is my first c notched truck with a flip kit and I have lots of questions lol.

I have a 1997 gmc sierra with a 4 inch drop in the front and idk what is going on in the back. I recently flipped the axle and now my ass end is squatting. I'd like to bring up the Rear an inch or 2 so I could level it out. I like the idea of regular shocks and leaf springs if I have to bag it I will but at this point I'm trying not to. I was wondering if I added a leaf would that help I currently have 3 leafs without the load spring. Or should I change the front spring hangers(if thats an option)

Also I have a tiny bit of whine on deceleration. Wasn't there before. Is thay caused by pinion angle? Thank you in advance for any help I really appreciate it im gonna add a before and after pic for reference.

The pic with the smaller wheels, is that your "before" you did the flip kit pic? It appears to already be lowered - if you added a flip kit to what was already there, you may be lower in the back than you were expecting the flip kit to achieve. If you have lowering hangers or shackles back there, that's going to be the issue.

Fairly easy to tell; if the hangers (brackets at the forward end of the leaf spring pack) are bolted to the frame and don't have an OEM appearance.. the originals will be riveted to the frame. Original shackles at the rear of the spring pack will be short, like around 4" long (guesstimate.) If yours are longer, like 6" and have a non-OEM appearance, that's your sign they are drop shackles.

Something to also keep in mind is the height of the rear wheelwells is lower than the front, by design, so that can give the appearance of rear sag even if there isn't any. Though I will say in the pics with the larger chrome wheels, the rear of your truck does look a little bit lower than level.

If you're not sure on the hangers and shackles, just post up a couple clear pics of them with good lighting and we can tell.

For the rear end whine, when you did the flip kit, did you install a carrier bearing spacer?

Couple of other things to add, bagging a truck isn't necessary to get it to sit level, it's a pretty involved process. What I think you're referring to is adding helper bags, also not needed but (as the term suggests) helpful to level the truck when it's loaded.
