Yeah, there's already cracks in the casting, so if I put it in a press, possibility it's going to crack. I guess this is as far as I should go. Don't press my luck.

Since I got one of the side bearing cups, I can try the Yukon. So, let's bring out the Yukon and try to get the side (case) bearings off.

Well F. I thought it was a 36 mm socket. Turns out it's bigger. And I don't have anything bigger than 36 mm except a 2" socket, and it's smaller than a 2" socket. So that's it for tonight. Have to order a socket.

At about 2:14 in this video, he states he is using a 36 mm socket. The title of the video says it is a Yukon YT P22, so maybe Yukon revised the model and started using a bigger hex head.

Eventually I'll stop being lazy and go measure the hex head with a caliper. :)

Edit: It measures 37.5 mm and 1.47 inches, if I recall, measuring from one side to another of the hex.

I did diff carrier bearings on my dually. I ended up taking the pinion yoke off, but I think only to pop a new seal on. Didn't bother with the adjustment, left it as it was slapped in 2 new diff bearings and sent it.
