Does anyone know if the front brakes still work fine with no wheel speed sensor at all? I know the abs will not work but that’s not an issue. I just wasn’t sure if the abs would try to do anything weird when no signal is picked up.

Here’s some pics of the knuckles I made. I just drove the truck with the brembos on the front, back brakes are still stock for now. Upgraded to a gmt800 master cylinder. Even with just the front brakes, it is a massive improvement over stock.

It shouldn’t do anything weird, you can unplug the module though. That Fer sure kills the abs.

Anyone ever installed an electric vacuum booster for the brakes on one of these trucks? After the larger master cylinder and bigger brakes(which work amazing) it takes more pedal force than I like. Not as stiff as manual brakes but still stiffer than I like. I am contemplating an electric vacuum booster to increase the amount of assist. If someone else knows any other way to increase assist it would be appreciated.

Hydro boost? You can probably make it look nice with custom made hoses and such
I thought about this but I already bought and installed a master cylinder that would not work with a hydroboost unit. If I can’t figure out anything else I might end up switching to hydroboost anyway down the road. Also the hydroboost master cylinders use a smaller bore than I want. My brakes have almost double the piston area as the stock brakes so I need the larger bore.
