I may be wrong, and will undoubtedly be corrected if I am, but here goes. Will need the grill, duh....the filler panel above the bumper, and all the "old style" lights, I believe the 95+ lights sit out farther that the older ones.

So basically swap the filler panel with a 89-94 and the grille should fit right in right ?

I believe so....but like I said, your lights will probably sitting proud of the old style grill. I have 20yr old APC headlights on my truck for 95+ and they stick out. Have the matching signal lights sitting here in a box on the shelf because they won't just bolt in. Have to move the A/C line, and I'm scared of breaking it.
So don't be surprised if your lights including the signals from your 95 don't fit properly with an older style grill.

I put an '89 grill on my '98 Suburban. The grill had the lower filler, turn signal & marker lenses already. It fit perfectly around the headlights.
Now, the Suburban had aftermarket yellow lenses and I yanked them. Ended up putting the quad glass '89 instead.

Then I bought my '95 2500 pickup and sold the Suburban. Not before removing the '89 grill, and giving it, along with the yellow headlight lenses to the pickup
