So had this happen to me today. Was working on a reefer unit and had a generator running. Stepped out of the box for a a few minutes and smelled fire. Next thing I knew the entire front wall and half the side wall was a wall of flame. Was able to get truck moved away from the row of trailers so it didn't take them with it. Watched it burn 30 minutes before the fire dept showed up. Yes I am ok. Only thing that is hurt is the truck and what was inside it. Thing that hurt me the most was watching the last 3 1/2 years of my life burn to the ground.

I'm retired so, I don't have anything work related but, I do have some "Job Carnage" from time to time. Here's my latest, the flat tappet cam out of my '88. Good excuse to go roller huh?

2 lobes wiped out.

Damn, that sucks!
Yes it does. Started putting my list of tools lost in it and roughly half way through it and im already at 6-7k and that is with out the tool box. I also just figured out that my scanner was in there and not in my truck like it thought so the total goes up another couple grand on top of the tools that I actually use at work.

When our car wash burned down the insurance kept screwing around devaluating my lifetime warranty tools. The whole thing was a GIANT pain in the butt. Good luck.

Thanks. Yeah I know its going to be a pain. It's all ready a pain just trying to remember what all I had in there. The commonly used tools are easy its the little ones that might get used once or twice a month that are going to be the hardest to remember.

You will remember them right after you settle with the insurance company.

Don't forget about the Rolex clock radio you had installed. Skip to 5:50.
