I have a 2000 454 4X4 K2500 WT that is mostly original and stock other than a bedflip BAKflip and minor body lift. Owned it for about 17 years. It is our work (spare) vehicle so only have 75,000 miles on it.

No significant problems, but changed fluids and filters of course and have replaced: Most hoses, Hydro brake booster, A/C compressor, Ignition Module, Bosch Fuel injectors, intake manifold gaskets.

Welcome! Is that snow picture next to your name in Texas also?
Yes, that was during our infamous 2021 snow event. We were fortunate in that we only had rolling blackouts, backup power options, and still had a large "Covid pantry" so we had enough to share food with neighbors. Obviously others and especially the many that apparently had no cold weather experience were not so fortunate. I had no trouble driving in the snow but others sure did.

Funny, but when you have owned a truck for a long time like this one, it really gives a good feeling to settle in and drive it. Kind of like "going home" or something. Maybe like an old dog who has been part of the family for a long time. Hard to describe but I bet some of you long timers know what I am talking about.
