Not saying much about stuff I know the environment is important. But come on there's a better way to get the point across to my opinion. To be honest seeing their actions annoy me to hack that makes me wanna just wake up extra early to start my truck just to let it warm up and produce more global warming. Better yet plant more trees to displace the oxygen wasted especially by those people that vandalized artwork and stuff.

Sound like I agree with Casey Putsch on this. Seems like class warfare.

I agree 100% on this! These young folks have a passion for their cause but if you sat one of them down and asked, do they really have a viable solution? Destruction of property, especially priceless art, will never convince me to listen me to your cause. How about get a job and donate to the cause? Or get a degree that could lead to a viable solution?

I say there should be stronger penalties for those ridiculous, immature antics.

Worldwide they are caving to these people. Just this week, U.S. is signing on to pay Global Reparations to “under developed” countries, while China emits 2/3 more green house gases than U.S. and Europe combined. But guess who’s not paying reparations? Guaranteed to line the correct pockets, I’m certain.

It's ridiculous quite honestly. I blame the parents for never telling their kids no, never letting them fail, or feel the pain/consequence of making a bad choice.

So they are against oil...do they understand how many petroleum products were used to make those bags of flour(the equipment that harvested and trucked the wheat to the grain terminal, the plant that processed and bagged the end product, the trucks that delivered to the warehouse...and then to the store)? I'm all for conservation, but some of this nonsense has gotten out of hand. In the 70s the experts predicted we were headed towards another ice age, now its global warming. According to the history I learned when in school, the Earth has had many temperature cycles in its history, including changing weather patterns, this is normal. But these individuals don't want to hear about facts, just the nonsense they are trying to promote.

The US could completely stop using coal/oil/etc...but that doesn't stop any other country in the world from doing it...nothing gained, plenty lost.

Punish them to the full extent of the law, make a few examples, and maybe they'll think twice about being idiots and destroying things, especially stuff that has nothing to do with their agenda. Once a cell phone became a hand held computer and a device that can connect whatever you're doing/saying at the moment to the rest of the world, certain individuals began to think what they had to say/do was important and meaningful.

It's not class warfare. It's a bunch of spoiled rich "kids" ruining other rich people's stuff. I'm really struggling to give a shìt about any of it. I couldn't care less about a "priceless" painting or whatever. None of that stuff has any intrinsic value, and these stupid "activists" aren't helping advance any real change, they're just drawing attention to themselves. Which is likely what they wanted all along.

A small point. No artworks were vandalised. The painting was behind a protective screen and suffered no damage. I don't believe anyone would vandalise a Van Gogh painting and expect to win the public over.

To a small extent, that is valid. These people are either vying for attention as stated above or mentally unstable, probably both.

The BMW has no protective covering.
