Belltech shocks. Anything Monroe has will be for stock ride height and good luck finding a parts person that can find what you need by using spec sheets.

Just listen to us old guys that have been doing this since lowering these trucks were a thing over 20 years ago.

As a former parts person, I can confirm that you’ll have a hard time finding a store that still has parts books. It will be even harder finding someone that will take the time or even know where to start looking through the non-existence books.

@Archaic2021 theres a really helpful shock thread in one of the sections in the forum. It’s a bunch of pages but worth going through.

Most flip kits are 6" right...can you run a lift shackle to just get a 5" drop?

With a 5" drop do you still need to c-notch if your not towing.

Depends on the truck, but yes, usually 6 ish inches. You can use shackles to get it back up an inch, but you're still gonna need a notch or the frame will hit the axle on every dip and pothole.
Why don't you want to notch it?

AFTER, you get your measurements and frame marked, you could pull the leaves and axle assembly all the way out, that would give you a bunch of room to work. You gotta take all of it apart anyway.
You must be registered for see images attach

So much room for activities

So I don't have help to remove bed safely, my wife is 28 weeks pregnant lol don't need an early delivery.

But after googling I have the stepside and it seems the bedside isn't very terrible to remove should give some extra room to either c nothc or do front hangers.

Unless you're a big 'ol boy, it's more than a two man lift. I propped my stepside bed up to do the fuel pump several years ago. It was before I injured my shoulder, and I had one of my kids who was a PT leader for JROTC helping me. We still called in my wife and daughter to get the bed tipped up and braced.

If I were to try and do it by myself, I'd probably try to use the engine hoist to raise it.
