I did not have this trouble at all. Although mine were a tight fit going in. I had to wrestle them into place. I tend to believe your bushings were no pressed all the way in. If you slit the difference between bushings thats .050 to .075 per bushing to move. I would try hammering them a bit and maybe widening the mounting tabs slightly with the hammer.

Short update and some questions.

Tried the Astro LCA on for size today. Did not fit. Started measuring. The metal part of the LCA itself seems ok, but the inner distance measured bushing to bushing (between the legs of the "A") is 3-4mm to large, 0.1-0.15" for the conservatives out there.. Too much to hammer in place in my opinion.

By chance the metal collor (the one with part of it gone to fit the torsion bar) of the rear bushing is not flush with the LCA, by approx. 3-4mm. Should it be?
Its the bushing seen in the top left part of this pic:

Seems odd that both new arms has badly pressed bushings. So I wounder if the collor should be flush?

Options:
-Try to press the bushings the remaining distance. Worst case should be broken press or bushing right?
-Remove busings and replace with a known quality bushing.
Any input?
I’ve had issues with the mounting ears being squeezed together. You can make a “press” of sorts with a bolt, washers and some nuts to push them apart a little

Yeah, I was mostly rubber-ducking a bit I guess.

But I since I never done bushings, I still wonder if the bushings is designed to get the flange flush or what desides when the bushing is pushed far enough?

Thats the answer I suspected and wanted..
But since I have a long trail of things thats broken and destroyed behind me due to that mindset I have, as I gotten older, started to ask others first. :)
Can you post some pictures of it?

A quick and dirty shot of the rear bushing. I can get a few more of the front as well tomorrow, but that looks more like the old bushing, so I suspect it is pressed far enough.

Still amazes me this works/fits for our trucks and they don’t market them for us.
