I'm back from the show sitting in my easy chair with an ice pack on my knee. That place was crazy! We took the "cardinal Way" exit off the 101 North freeway yesterday morning at 9:30, there was already a line backed up on the off ramp to the main entrance of the stadium parking where the show was being held about 3/8ths of a mile away. We were in 1 of 2 lanes going to it, bumper to bumper, stop, wait, and take 2 steps forward. A lot of the older modified trucks going to the "show Lot" were overheating, puking antifreeze, and blowing smoke out of the exhaust (or underneath). By 10:23 we made it to our parking space in the "Visitors" lot. Then we had to walk over 1/4 mile back to the Show lot entrance. They advertised "room for 1500 vehicles", ha! By late morning they closed the gates and still had more "Show" trucks in line which wound up parked all over the place on access roads etc.

The entrance was about in the center of the Show lot so, we turned right, went up and down looking at trucks, even saw a few "Cat Eye" NBS ones (I thought it was for 38 - 98 trucks only, LOL). There were no refreshment (or water) stands or any place to sit in the entire Show lot. There were some outside the North edge where you could get something to eat and even an adult beverage but, the lines were outrageous! We found a couple chairs and sat for 20 minutes before heading back to the "Visitor" lot. Never did get to the South side of the main road.

Here's some pics from the main road when we got to the boundary of Show trucks and Vendors' area, just to get an idea of the enormity of it all.

Here's one which gives a whole new meaning to "Cut and Buff". He sanded it down, let it flash rust, and then clear coat.
