Can't wait for my harness, those pics look way better than my stock high beam setup!
technically speaking having the 4 all on could be detrimental to your safety driving , but i would say it depends on what your conditions are. if you were in rural windy, hilly roads, most certainly its not worse , since the foreground lighting is actually to your benefit because you could see to your immediate sides better. and if up and down hills, you can see more of whats in front of you.
But if you were wide open flat areas , youre limiting your view to ahead because a combination of eyes focusing differently and potential overconfidence in the 4 beams

I wound up going with crystal vision platinum bulbs from Philips.

They weren’t as white as I hoped but they definitely were an improvement over what I found in the lenses (Sylvania)

The price was right and it’s definitely on the whiter end of halogens.

After some back order issues on my original relay blocks, I found another one that offers IP65 waterproof protection. I will offer it now ($200 plus shipping and PayPal fee) in addition to the original ($175 plus shipping and PayPal fee). Here are some pics of the new relay block...

Hey Brian,

Have any ideas on mounting this waterproof relay box with the dual battery setup? I have a 96 suburban 7.4 vortec.. there's not much space to do much of anything under this hood..

I got my kit about a year ago and was going to tackle it today.. but I'm thinking the second battery will likely interfere with the big waterproof box on the driver side fender well. The kit is awesome btw, just seeking some input and advice on where I should mount this.

Would it make any difference mounting it on the passenger side? I'm considering modifying the factory filter box and mounting it to that then wiring direct to the battery.

I’ve considered mounting under the ECM on my 96 K1500, have to look again. Probably make relay and fuse access impossible. I’ll tackle next spring.

Im considering ordering a volant cool air kit as it takes up less space than the factory box, but still seals off the filter from under hood temps..

Please keep me on the interested list, too. Am adding fog lights and replacing headlights, too.
I can wire fogs into my harness with or without a switch, however I don’t have any switches at the moment. If you come up with a stock one all I’d need is the pigtail to wire in, or I can use the right terminals to fit an aftermarket switch as well. I’ll shoot you a pm to discuss ordering further.
