Or you buy the truck, and it decides it likes to get attention from you, and likes it even more when you spend $$ on it....
And then many trucks on here, mine included, the current owners/fixers are making up for lost time on things that were neglected.
I'm glad to know that the brake light switch on these trucks commonly fails after the booster is replaced. I'm sure it was the original one....

It's a disease.
Ugh... yeah... It was stock, 1 owner old man owned, well maintained, bought it for $1000. 170,000 miles. "I'm only going to lift it and fix what needs to be fixed..."

Rebuilt the front end
RCX 6" lift
Torsion Bar Relocators
Hydroboost conversion
NBS rear disc brake conversion
NBS center console
Electric Fans
Headlight relay harness
Swapped out the whole burgundy interior cause I just couldn't stand it anymore (my first and last interior swap)
Spider upgrade
Black Bear tune
4l60e rebuild...

Yeah I'm probably keeping it forever lol

From experience with several other GM seat types, these parts are likely very swapable, probably use the same frame and all. I have reskinned several seats using junkyard parts, even converting two door and four door seats to be opposite. Also modified passenger seats skins for the drivers side as they are usually not as worn.

Good luck!

Well, I got the seats in last night. The drivers seat is identical to the truck seat. The Passenger seat... not so much. I had to swap the seat base tracks out. Not a huge deal to do. You have to take the "Easy Entry" cable off the base which is attached in two places, and you have to remove a spring. 4 bolts later, everything was swapped out. I've got a clever idea how to integrate the "Easy Entry" system on to my new seat without cutting a hole in the side of the leather. I'm going to try to mount it to the front of the seat frame. IDK if its going to work, but I'm going to try. I'm still on the hunt for a leather rear seat.

"Babe, its only 8 bolts! Swapping out the seats this should take me less than 30 minutes..." :roflsquared:
