This morning the truck started and ran exactly the same with the EGR unplugged.

Just got back from Black Bear tuning. Justin is a great knowledgeable guy!
Truck now seems to be running better than it ever has. Starting was definitely too lean so he enriched it 20 percent and it now starts up as it should hot.
Find out about cold start tomorrow morning. CKP relearn also done.

What is this "display" you've shown (image below)?

It looks like an Android double DIN stereo running the app "Torque Pro," which communicates with a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter.

Definitely looks like that is what he is using. I have a 10.1" Android based unit and use OBDLink on it in my Express.

With the 0411 ecu im wondering if there is a way to have Torque read the oil pressure.
Torque does come up with two options but neither will work with the current sensor on the block.
Would a 5.3ls sender work if i can find one that will plug in?

Since we have a new 96 up Vortec subsection, I thought I would make a new post.

The 12200411 PCM can be installed into the 96 to 2000 GMT400 trucks simply by repining the PCM connector terminals. The wiring is slightly different between the 96, 97, and 98 to 2000 trucks. The 0411 PCM has a much faster processor than the Black Box PCM and has dual timing tables. There is also more support from the tuning software companies for the 0411. EFILive and HPTuners both offer "Custom Operating Systems" for the 0411 to support boost and or nitrous. The swap can be completed in about 2 1/2 hrs and is fairly easy to do. If anyone is interested in the swap just PM me your e-mail address and I will send you a copy. I will not post the files to the web.

Lextec, can you pm me? I have a 2000 Cadillac Escalade I have gutted the interior and I’m slowly bringing this clapped out redneck wagon to its original classy elegance. Guy I bought it from lost the original key and let it sit with the sunroof open for 3 months. ‍♂️ Mold was everywhere. So far I’ve replaced carpet seat covers door latches and handle and whole steering column. I finally get to a point to start this beater from lil nicky’s hell bound garage and same old pass lock crap. I got lucky and just jammed a zip tie in the connector thank god!! The beast fired right up! With an obvious misfire so at this point I’m ready to go old school with marine intake setup and make this beast into a wiener I mean winner.. any help is greatly appreciated brother!

Best Regards, Jacob
