Regular cab 88-91 C1500's got the little brakes. "HD" brakes were optional. 92-up GM decided everyone was getting "HD" brakes. It's also an 88. That has the small rotors, too.
Coincidence?

And lookie there at F58, that confirms the 2 different sizes that came up in another thread.

Beats me. Do you have F58 stickers on the bedsides? (I kid, I kid)So since my '89 C1500 has the JB5 brakes, I should also have the F58 "HD"sway bar?
My thoughts, too.Beats me. Do you have F58 stickers on the bedsides? (I kid, I kid)
Maybe the '89 sales brochure has that type of info? To order this, includes this, or must have that option, type of chart.

can anyone confirm if that frame bracket/spacer that the sway bar bushing is mounted to, is only on the passenger's side? Mine doesn't have one on the driver's side and makes me wonder if that is the original design or if original owner did something...Unless early '88s were an exception, you should have a sway bar. My '89 C1500 does.
