When you hold it with the ports to the rear as seen on the air cleaner the left one is the thick one.

Which hose is bigger? The one coming from the EGR valve, or the one coming from the throttle body? Put the big hose on the big nipple, put the smaller hose on the smaller nipple.

The diagrams are identical. It's NOT THICKER! It's the larger diameter hose. Stop saying that, it's not ketchup.
Look at the diagrams, READ the routing. It's the same. Different artist, same hose routing. It may look different, but read the routing, it's easy.
