That's a DJM 5/7 kit. Springs, spindles, flip kit. I think their shocks where separate from the kit. But it's been a few years since I bought it
Any "gotchas" you ran into on the install? I figured I'd source my own shocks, would like to get some nice adjustable ones, so I can tinker with the ride a bit (plus makes sourcing a kit a bit easier).

It was all bolt on except for the notch and I like the adjustable flip kit djm uses.

But I did order the belltech drive line kit for trans mount spacers and the support bearing spacer because the drive line angle was bad.

Good to know, I see they only have a mention of RWD when selecting make/model on their site. I guess I'll have to see if the 4x4 needs something similar.

I'm not a fan of the 6.5, I've owned 2 and there will not be a third.
I am pretty sure you can't drop a 4wd more than 3 in the front, I believe because CV axle angles get too severe.
I was curious about any considerations on the 4x4 vs 4x2, but it was one of the things I wasn't able to find any really detailed info/build threads on around here. If you can point me in the direction of someone here who's done a 4x4 job, would love to check that out for further info.

Sub'd. If you're pulling featherweight JDM goodness open deck and not climbing mountains I think you'll be OK with the 6.5, but I guess we'll find out.

Yeah, lots of gutted 80's corollas and scooters haha. The main route is between Idaho and L.A. has been the biggest beast of a drive. Doing a run down there in a couple weeks with no trailer, so will see how it does.

There's a few threads on here, the search function is your friend...not sure if the 3500 4wd trucks are the same as the 1500's though. @Supercharged111 may have some insight.
I typed "lowering 4x4" in, here's one that popped up:

All my searches have had keywords with specifics of my drivetrain and model ... in an attempt to get a better result, but not the case. There a serious benefit in knowing the forums, and knowing who's posts to look for. (like you do) Thanks for linking this one! Digging into it now.

After digging into available mods for the truck, and a couple trips to SoCal and back, while it's clear this truck is in phenomenal running condition, I came to the conclusion that I'd definitely like a bit more power while towing (can't really do much to the 6.5 without risking blowing it up), and dammit ... I just want more LOW.

Picked up a '97 454 gasser dually 4x2 with far lower miles in nice shape today. I was kind of looking forward to the challenge of converting the SRW to the spec I had in mind, but this will be a far easier buildout.
