Got it married to the NV3500, set in place. Wired up, cranks no start. Had to go out of town for work, so there’s a pause until I get time off.

I’m back at it this weekend after a month out. Trying to figure out my no fuel pump prime after swap. I got the oil pressure switch swapped for the correct 98 version instead of the donor motor. Swapping oil filters for the longer one solved the fitment problem I had.

The no fuel pump issue was my key on 12v power, and extra 12v power source to my standalone fuse box. Once I fixed that, she roars like a lion.
Then I had a high idle, like stuck at 1800 rpm. That turned out to be the cruise control cable linkage being adjusted improperly.
Then there was the no clutch pressure issue, which was resolved by a new clutch master and line.
Now I’ve been reassembling everything I took apart, fenders/liners, replacing core support bushings.
