Idk . Im not a mechanic ‍♂️ Im just guessing stuff. And last time it acted like this is when i was pulling my side by side home last year from the camp , it had lost All power . Checked atf it was real low.

topped it off and i havent had any problems til today. Sucky part is im hauling the bike next weekend to the deer lease then it was supposed to be my ride until after hunting season.

we bought my daughter a truck last yr even tho she was only 14; and i drove it until she turn(s) 16. That time has come so my truck will be my primary again. I have a company 22 f450 but it cant leave parish line. Since its a govt truck. I sold my other personal when i got this truck.
So it wasn't spinning the tires? I'm so confused...lol

Pads can seize to the rotor, shoes to the drum and stop a vehicle moving. But usually after a time of sitting and/or being exposed to water (washing is enough for pads to seize to a rotor if left over-night). But, when they release the suddenness doesn't go unnoticed and in the case of drums, the accompanying 'bang' either.

thats a strong possibility as i only drive it about 10 miles a month. im gona take the wheels off today or tomorrow and check to see if i see anything sticking there. I changed brake pads last year, rotors were just fine Too

On my crew cab, the pads were probably changed not too long ago because they are not worn down much. This truck hadn't been driven a lot by the previous owners; they told me that. The front rotors spin with a little more resistance than I think they should have, but the brakes seeming to grab right at the last part of a stop, hasn't been doing that like it was.
The shop "says" they've had it on their lift, and the wheels spin fine and it goes into all gears. But won't hardly move, once on the ground. I haven't seen this, because they had other cars on the lift when I was there.
When we were driving it, the problem didn't start happening until we had driven it a while,5 or 6 miles (it had to get warmed up good).
