Update;

Thee was a little misunderstanding on my part regarding when the frame was to be picked up, but it's formally scheduled to be picked up tomorrow morning and delivered Thursday.

God I pray this goes off without a hitch.

Would anyone be interested in a build thread on the Suburban once I get started on the frame restoration and swap? Again, once the frame (and other mechanical peripherals) has been addressed, the rest of the truck will be addressed as well. I already have a torquey 489" big block built for it, the existing 4L80E has already been rebuilt, and I plan on keeping the original 3.73 14 bolt but I do plan to freshen it up as well since it has over 250K on it.

Yeah, I know I've got more than a few screws loose putting all this time, effort and $ into a plebeian C2500 `95 `Burb, but this ol' truck's been damn good to me, and I ain't throwing in the towel on it any time soon.

While I'm on the subject, I know this is a GMT400 site, but would anyone be interested in seeing my build on my `90 C3500 Crew Cab dually? I'm just finishing up the last few details on the 572 for it which should be headed to the dyno soon, and I've already done a LOT of other work to it getting things sorted back out after its extended hibernation before I purchased it.

Yes on both build threads. We have other members with late square body trucks in addition to their 400s. That dually sounds like an absolute beast for towing....

For sure! We've got a whole section dedicated to non-GMT400 build threads called "Other Vehicle Builds." It's under "Pictures and Video" on the main page, here's a link.

No, we'd rather see more build threads with Toyotas and hot 4-bangers. :p

It appears that only OP's can post in the build forums, should I start a new thread for the `Burb in there anyways or just stick with this thread so others can reply?

Here's the pics of the new frame. I am absolutely floored how nice this thing is.

Last 3 pics. (the DS tow hook bracket is slightly tweaked, no big deal)
