So after many moons, I'm about to start replacing the header gaskets but have noticed this strangely welded power steering pump bracket which I'm almost certain ain't stock! With nothing to refer to has the previous owner just adapted this to fit after replacing the old factory manifolds?
Cheers lads!

Yep. Some headers come with a spacer which makes it so you can reuse the original exhaust manifold stud. Otherwise you can get creative, like the PO did. I went a different route and used a small bolt for the PS pump bracket with header bolts.

if you dont rely on the later aluminum brackets for the accessories then use a universal SBC head or block mount bracket and shim to get the pulley lined up.
On the later brackets, do they ahve that problem still?
