So, I just got back from the test drive, after the install. All is good. The sensors, came out very easy. I put some of the copper lube on the threads of new sensors, that came in the package, with the new sensors. I only replaced, both front sensors. Back ones aren't acting up, so I will leave them alone for now. I know the back ones, basically only let the ECM know the cats are working. Since I have catalytic converter simulators, I'm not to woried about the back 02 sensors for now. If I get a CEL, then I will replace them then.

Thread 'remove your cats, and make a mini cat for your rear 02 sensors.'
That's pretty clever. Never considered putting a little honey comb in there. Cats are worth quite a bit selling them to a scrap yard though if they are in tact. I think I got $330 for the ones from my big block. I have HP Tuners so I usually just change the codes to no error reported.

So I filled up for the first time since the new sensors. I'm getting better MPGs but I have noticed that my truck is just a little more sluggish. I guess the Bosh sensors, were dumping more fuel.

Did you rest fuel trims, should be able to by unhooking bat power.

Could be, the only real way to know is with a wideband.

Yes. I reprogrammed the truck, with my Jet flash tuner. I reset everything to max performance. Mater of fact, I had to reprogram it 3 or 4 times, to get the speedo to read rite. Each time, I reset everything.

I don't know what kind of options you have with a jet, but if it was a custom tuning system you could edit the power enrichment a little to make up for it? But mpg would probably go back down a little.

No, it is just a hand held, flash tuner. It doesn't have those features. It's a fairly simple system, that is kide of dummy proof. I can set tire size, rear end gear ratios, shift points, shift firmness, RPM limits, and tune for regular, medium, or premium gas. Then once you set anything, it is locked to that truck. That's why it's $100 cheaper than the software system that Jet makes.

Sounds similar to the super chips I had on a dodge. Once I got hpt, I read the sc tune and only thing different from stock at all was spark map. But they had a shift schedule option you could pay $40 more for and Custom tune the trans shift schedules. Really the only reason I bought it.

Similar, but there are no hidden charge upgrades. Before I had the trans in my truck rebuilt, to a HD performance kit, with Corvette survos, and a shift kit, I used the Jet programer to stiffen up the shift firmness. I don't need that now, it also has a shift kit. I also really liked the fact that I can go ever 99 MPH now.
