If this is the case then buying the Dorman kits and swapping the bushings out for Cunningham ones may be the way to go. The Dorman 38416 kit is only $6 on RockAuto and comes with everything you need to do one hinge including the clips, where as a pack of four factory GM hinge pins alone (no clips) is over $60.

That would be great if you don't mind. Even if I don't end up buying them it would be nice to have the part number posted here for reference. Thanks!
When I said I bought clips from Amazon, I was referencing snap rings. The clips prob will never be needed. The pins stay in pretty well on their own in the bushings. The clip is more of a precaution just in case.

Here is mine with Dorman pins, bushing crumbled in weeks, and new Cunningham bushings. The clips are from ACE Hardware, cheap and plentiful. The Dorman clip actually broke in half when putting it on.
I used 2 washers to take up the space at the top of the pin so it won't drop.

So in your experience the Cunningham bushings worked fine with the Dorman pins?

I'd have to say yes. I had the Dorman in for a month or so before I figured out they crumbled. Asked on here and found Cunningham, no way was I paying $90 for a door pin from GM! Ordered 2 sets of Cunningham, one for each door.
Reused the Dorman pins and they seem to fit the bushing fine. Each pin will use a small and a large bushing.
I did grease up the pins on install.
Don't know the best way to lube the pins though.
Grease will attract and hold dirt and dust and can cause premature wear. Maybe it's not an issue, don't know!

Well, I got impatient and ordered some stuff.

I needed a couple other random GM parts, so I got four OEM hinge pins and five clips (in case I lose one) from GM Parts Direct. Also placed an order with Cunningham Machine for two sets of hinge pin bushings and two HD rollers. Figured I'd get enough parts to do both front doors on the 'burb in case the passenger side needs some love in the near future as well.

Thank you all for your contributions thus far, please keep the discussion going!

Here are the clips, they can be purchased separately for $4.10 ea. They have a good selection of hinge parts .
Hinge pin clips
This is one of the reasons that I always try and source my parts in the after market world. GM's parts prices have gone through the roof in the 5-10 years.
