Torquing your header bolts will help. also you need to retorque the bolts after you run the truck. I use grade8 header bolts. Torque to 35 Ft Lbs. There are bolts that you can not get a torque wrench on. About 1/2 of them. On these, I use a wrench and a cheater pipe, about the same length as my torque wrench. That way, I have some kind of feel, as to how tight the bolts are. Here are a few pics of mine. And they are Summit shorty headers.

Thanks. Did you have to do any trimming of the bracket on the drivers side for the power steering pump?

Thanks. One more question, since these headers have the ball shaped end where it mates up to the y-pipe, do I need to use a donut gasket still when I make the connection?
Short answer is no. You do need to be very careful to NOT bend them though. Mine got bent, and I had to end up, getting a steel set of dougnut gaskets for a 1972 c 10, with a 350. this worked grate, but I had to smash in, the ball section, on the headers, to except the doughnut gaskets. be sure to get a good fit where the exhaust pipe bolts up. That gave me more issues than anything else.
