I love the steelies don't get me wrong. I even have all the beauty rings. I would love to repaint them to the stock color and keep them but I have never seen steelies in good enough shaper to pick a shade of paint that would match the original color.
My entire goal for this truck is to slowly restore it to a decent, stock looking condition inside and out.

I painted some 70s Mopar Rallye wheels in a silver that was a Dodge truck color, duplicolor spray paint, don't remember the color name but it's a silver with big metallic particles in it. Looks sparkly in good light. Also sets off the chrome center caps and stainless steel trim rings.
On our square body Burbs, Dad used this on one set of Rally's, and another set was painted to match a truck.
The steelies on my crew cab have a little surface rust, so eventually they'll get cleaned up and repainted the gold to match the body color. Assuming I can afford to get it fixed, and it gets fixed....
Personally, my preference on a vehicle is to have as few disparate colors as possible. Take for example,@kennythewelder 's white truck. Everything on it is white, black or polished aluminum comparable to chrome. Very clean look.

What size are these, and are they the same lug pattern? Since some later 8 lugs are different than what our trucks use...

These look good, and I like the large slots for brake cooling. Just not in the budget right now.... thanks!

H2's are awesome wheels, and once upon a time you could pick up a set for less than $500 NEW. Most that I see now are abused or overpriced, but still a great OEM type wheel replacement.

PY0's are still one of the best looking you can use:

Recently I've gone up a wheel/tire size to some 17" OEM offerings. At some point I'll probably go back to the PY0's, but currently enjoying these 5 spokes.

The H2 stuff is GMT800-era so they're same bolt pattern and go right on like shown in the pic in Shannon's post. I think first time I saw this done was on a yard wrecker back in 2005-2006 or so; a storage lot I used to drop at all the time had a SRW C3500 GMT400 with a slide-in unit that the guy used to keep the yard organized. Farrell Road Storage for those that may remember.. it's a huge LKQ now, Aldine Westfield/Farrell.

I really like these wheels. If I ever wind up with a C2500 Burb, these are the wheels I want on it.
