Mission failed. Truck acted up so bad I could only manage 45 at times, I'm worried I'm tearing the trans apart with this too. Going to tear into the harness this afternoon and try to get it flashed. I hope it's just a loose pin or something with the tune.

You kept it in 3rd and it did that? You should've logged the trip.

I know with my laptop I can do 3+hrs without the scanner locking up. If I were you I'd start recording every trip you do with that truck to compile data.

You made it to 68 in that log you sent me and we're doing around 2600-2800rpm. Please reflash the ECU first before driving it anywhere

Kept it in 3rd and pulled in tow/haul and it snapping and crackling so bad I had to turn it off, I was going bring it along to but my laptop was dead this morning by the time I had to go pick the guy up.
I checked the harness and everything seemed alright, I tried to reflash the modified tune but for some reason HPTuners wouldn't complete the flash, the truck started up no problems no DTCs, but it's like the VCM Suite would freeze up. I feel like bashing my head into the wall over this ordeal.

The plot thickens! Updated everything again, reset my dongle and after a quick phone call with @Mangonesailor coaching me through the process I got the tune modified. No time for a test drive tonight so I'll have to go tomorrow after work. I ran the scanner again and even though there weren't any DTCs the other day I found this today.

Need some advice, I'm running into a situation on the alternator, it's charging at 14.5V but I've noticed it'll bounce a bit and when I put the multimeter to it it'll show 14.7V; I know the AD244 is supposed to default to 14.5V, but I was thinking of adding a sensing wire to the positive post on the battery so I don't accidentally cook my new Odyssey when I install it.

Would I get away with running the sensing wire right to the battery? Or would that cause more trouble? I really don't want to kill another battery by accident.

Is something causing it to charge that high? Usually my trucks will do that if the battery is super low. Reminds me that the dually has weak operating voltage and I keep forgetting to characterize it.
