Had to run something to my wife on Saturday since we were getting ready for our friend's wedding, and I came across this little honey. I like XJ Jeeps, and this one was straight as am arrow, judging from the interior and a few of the exterior details I believe it's a 98-00 model XJ. No price, just a phone number so I can only assume it's an astronomical price.

Was it a manual? I remember working at a Chrysler dealer when these were new and it seemed like every third one was a stick shift, but now I can't find a single stick shift Cherokee anywhere. I know they are rust buckets, but you can't tell me just the manuals rotted away lol

This was an auto, from my experience with this style of Jeep, XJs do not have easy lives, they're cheap and plentiful so a lot of people build them up into trail rigs. I knew of 3 manual XJs around here in North Carolina, one being a 2-door model that was in the junkyard for a long time and the other two have long since been retired to the tree-row after harsh lives as off road toys
I know I'm looking for the right one to build into a beater/daily/trail rig. And honestly, this one was way too nice to wind up doing what I want.

U.P in Michigan I have an XJ, 2.8 v6 with an automatic. When I got it, it was pretty clean. Then it became a Upper Peninsula winter beater, the door rusted from the top-down, put a new door on it, then I parked it. Tried to start it when I was up there, no start. I'll fix it at some point, I miss that thing.
