Got some brake fluid this morning, couldn’t get the brakes to bleed, found a leak where I forgot to tighten the union on the brake line I replaced yesterday. Tried to bleed again, and found another leak under the cab where the flared end of the front most line cracked. CRAP. Guess I’m gonna replace that line too. Smh

I've had a good experience with nickel-copper lines. Easy enough to bend and flare, and they haven't started to rust again, and have been on the truck for a year. You can buy coils of the stuff on Amazon.

Replaced the last remaining leaking brake line, ran a tap through the mounting points on the bed, and installed the bed. I am absolutely amazed that little engine hoist was able to lift the bed that high. Also thankful I didn’t hurt or kill myself in the process since I was working alone lmao.
