OP is in New England, were/are vehicles driven or sold in Canada required to have DRLs? Could it be an import? Were DRLs an option?Oddly, the schematic pictured seems to be for 1990 and mentions DRLs.
Yeah… confusing.

Just speculation, on the connections, but the Tan/Blk and the BLU/WHT wires coming off the ECU connector have no where to go. I did find another same Color Blu/wht coming off the DRAC module that also goes to ECU.So you’ve also got two similar wires coming from the ECU… do you know where these two are supposed to go or not?
I ask because you’re speculating those wires may go to this box.
Yes this was a Detroit Chevy for the Canadian market, it has the Canadian Emissions sticker in the engine bay.OP is in New England, were/are vehicles driven or sold in Canada required to have DRLs? Could it be an import? Were DRLs an option?
The Blu/Wht could be Ppl/wht too, which goes to ECM “fused”Just speculation, on the connections, but the Tan/Blk and the BLU/WHT wires coming off the ECU connector have no where to go. I did find another same Color Blu/wht coming off the DRAC module that also goes to ECU.
In the Diagrams the Tan/Blk wire is used for Torque converter clutch, HEI bypass, and Kickdown relay.
Sorry C291 not 219The closest thing I can find is the C219 part in pic 2 but the wire colors are not exactly the same.
