That is too funny! Congrats on that one, I've been looking for one of those for ages. Thought I had one lined up a couple different times but it always fell through.

Yeah..

Those are FEW and FAR between. I believe I paid $1400 for it in 2014. I've seen them go for up to 3k, lately, when they pop up.

Yup. I was looking everywhere for one for at least a year straight and I found two total. I kind of quit looking because the prices were approaching that of a custom axle from someone like Strange or Moser.

The dashboards are $300 a piece, pulled, no wiring included, will include serviceable bezel, no instrument cluster. Will have airbags, but I assume no liability on the usability of the airbags.

When I get a chance in a few weeks, i'll dig some out and get pictures.
Okay cool thanks! I'll keep that in mind. I'm not planning on doing the dashboard work on my Burb anytime soon ( it's still too hot in Houston area and I really want to wait on doing this until I can get in my shop building, and I'll need the big truck fully capable and reliable so we can drive it).

When you start getting older and decide to finally remove the clear lens head and park lamps you installed eons ago.

What's the rest of that unit look like? Does it have a bucket and siphon like the later trucks?

Same purpose and style as an 88-97 sending unit. If you want to use this in a 98-00 OBS, you'll have to switch to a 97 and down tank.

Went ahead and built a new exhaust for the truck, today. Left the turndowns off, as I'd like to take it to an exhaust shop to get a pair of tailpipes made up, to exit behind the passenger rear tire.

Also filled up the truck from the fuel door, for the first time in a few years. Was pretty nice!
