That’s what I want to do to my truck but up here in NY it’s very rare to find anything that’s reusable@Supercharged111 @Dravec
This guy has Tahoe seats in the rear of his crew

That's a very interesting idea! There's times it'd be good to be able to fold up the seats and put stuff in the floor (like yard trips!). I wonder how much bracketry he had to fabricate for this swap. That’s what I want to do to my truck but up here in NY it’s very rare to find anything that’s reusable

Here you go, I had to add the 1" square tubing on both inner rear seat mounts, the rest were just drilling holes where I needed bolts. I used pretty good size grade 8 nuts and bolts, and used the biggest fender washers I could find underneath the cab. These seats are nice, the fold down option is pretty useful.Finished bolting down the Tahoe rear seats this afternoon. It’s not too hard of a retrofit. The large seat on the driver side had one bolt hole that lined up, then I had to drill the rest. The smaller seat on the passenger side didn’t line up with any of the stock holes, so it took some measuring and drilling. I used grade 8 bolts with large fender washers to kinda spread the load out on the floor pan. I did have to use 2 short pieces of “1 square tubing as spacers for the two inner rear mounts. But now it’s pretty solid.
“Spacer” installed

One of the “spacers” made from 1” tubing.

There are plenty of times I bring a hand carry tool box, a plasma cutter or other tool in a case or boxes of stuff you don’t want to put in the bedHere you go, I had to add the 1" square tubing on both inner rear seat mounts, the rest were just drilling holes where I needed bolts. I got the brakes bled this morning with my vacuum bleeder, so now I have brakes again.
Since I have almost everything that I need for the conversion finally, I started cleaning the dually wheels. I will most likely still paint them, but they are cleaning up pretty nice surprisingly. You must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attach
