Generally tires older than 7 years by date code will not be mounted or repaired by a tire shop. As someone who has had a front blow out on a motorhome at 62 MPH you DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN! almost a serious accident and $12,000 in damage to the coach. Do not risk any thing over 7 years old 6 years is a safer limit especially if you drive over 65 or in the heat!

Okay so I'm double that.. lets see if I can triple it!

I shouldn't have put how old the tires were, this wasn't intended to be a thread about how bad running old tires are.. noted for next time and removed from the original post.

Got to love hopping in the truck and finding this.
They stole a couple Leatherman, a knife, and my suction cup phone holder. Did more damage than anything. What a pain in the @$$.

Where did that happen, home work…..?

I had the fuel relay pulled and the battery disconnected. Would have been gone had I not done that.
I have a tiny switch up under my dash that triggers a relay that cuts off the power to the injectors. I can flick it on when getting up into the truck without anyone noticing and like yours it will stop the engine starting up. I also have a GPS tracker installed so that if someone did take it I can find it anywhere it goes and can remotely shut of the same relay to stop the truck when I am ready to take it back again.

A kill switch is on the list to install, I bought a switch last week. Also have a steering wheel bar/lock to hopefully deter anyone from causing damage to my column plastic and key cylinder again before they realize it won't start.

I have the the steering wheel lock as well that I put on overnight. It's best to deter them before they do any damage.

That's cool. I had no idea starcraft did custom truck conversions. I know they make boats, travel trailers, and do custom van conversions. I have never seen one of these though. Looks to be in great shape!!
