I would be interested when the time comes...Yup. Two actually. One from ebay and one from Craigslist. Never seen either in person. But that time will come when it's ready. Don't wanna derail this thread.

Congrats on 200K, my K2500 is getting closer every day, and I feel your pain on the old truck woes, my 96 has been giving me trouble all last week that I just got sorted out.Well she rolled 200k finally and I was lucky enough to catch it happen. Truck's running good.

Been looking at newer trucks a bit, but have a hard time justifying with how well this one is still sorted and how it costs me nothing. Bruises and all. Something to ponder I guess.
Also decided to sell my 16' gooseneck utility trailer. If anyone is interested I'll break off a forum member good deal on a solid trailer
Yes indeedy! That's why I pulled the trigger on the big truck. Even with the repair bill today and paying a buddy that's a wrecker driver a Benjamin to haul it out to the shop( part of that expense is because when a wrecker crosses a county line, the price goes up, in Houston area), I'm still way ahead of making payments.Congrats on 200K, my K2500 is getting closer every day, and I feel your pain on the old truck woes, my 96 has been giving me trouble all last week that I just got sorted out.
My 2000 is just sitting, I feel like I can't get any traction in working on that truck to get it back on the road, but both of them are paid off; and even though I have to throw some money at them every once in a while it beats the hell out of a 750-900 dollar a month payment.
