Can you throw a battery maintaner on the Odyssey?..... is that AGM? My NOCO is AGM compatible, but I don't know if that's common.
I don't have a battery maintainer; every time I go to buy one something pops up and the money is needed elsewhere.
My dad has a NOCO jump pack/maintainer that I've been wanting to snatch to keep in my truck, but I know I need a big roll around one since I've got two trailers with batteries to maintain.

The Odyssey aren't picky when it comes to chargers. Some chargers won't charge a completely dead AGM battery because the internal resistance is so low they don't know they're connected to a battery. Cheap chargers generally don't care.
You can connect another battery in parallel to raise the voltage or turn the parking lights to trick the charger into starting up.

The NOCO chargers are really nice. Momma and the kids got me one for my birthday.

I thought about snatching one of the DieHards out of my crew, they're freshly charged up, but I hate to move batteries around like that.

I've never had a big charger, and I don't really know what they're for, but I've assumed it was for the "start" capacity more than charging. Unless I need a vehicle to start right now, I'd rather charge a battery low and slow. I bought a 2 prong 50 foot extension cord to go along with the chargers so I don't have to park near an outlet.

The big charger is nice for jump starting and maintaining batteries; this is the particular one my dad has

Wow what a saga! Read this thread hoping for pointers on my upcoming 454 0411 swap I'm preparing for... found some gems for sure.

Tow/Haul question... does that shifter have an indicator light on it, or how do you tell when you are in tow/haul mode?

You can definitely tell; I was debating wiring up an indicator light when I install my trans temp gauge, but since it's noticeable engagement, and I don't want to do any more wiring that what I already need I've decided against it.

You can find a switch out of a console shift S10/Blazer, it's a Tow/Haul switch that has a light built in!

I had been meaning to ask the same question...

Maybe this is another option?

Thats what I got for my squarebody swap with L29/4L80E. I got it for a buck at the local pick-n-pull. I'm driving the light using a special driver module I got for pretty cheap.

Does that S10 switch have some sort of internal circuitry? Probably needs ignition, signal, and a ground?
As far as activating Tow/Haul on the PCM it's still a momentary ground; as far as getting it to light up you need a module that will power on with the switch engaged. I had a link saved but I can't seem to find it now
There was an area in the 0411 Thread that went over this I think?
