Hey everybody!
I was hoping someone on here has some experience with the stock exhaust system on these trucks. My c1500 had a stock muffler that had a very large 3 inch flange on it that bolted up the the converter. I got a new Flowmaster cat that came with a huge flange, I am having a hard time finding one to weld onto my muffler. None of the muffler shops in the area have one. The standard 3 inch flange is almost an inch too small to fit the new one. GM doesn't sell the muffler or anything except the gasket. I need a part number for that flange if anyone has experience with that system. The flange is 3 3/32 " diameter and 5 1/4 inch bolt center, and probably 3/8 " thick material.
