ANOTHER distributor, or the same one from the first post that you had problems with???
I replaced one new distributor with the module, cap, and rotor included. The only thing from my first post I had a problem with before I started changing all these other parts were the cap and rotor. Hope that makes sense.

Started it up this morning ran great went and got some fuel and dropped it off at my local mechanic shop. I want him to look at it and scan it and maybe find something I overlooked. Might have them replace that other ground wire and 02 sensor. Maybe check fuel pressure I don't know I have already done pretty much all the work replacing parts. Now it just needs a physical exam by a real doctor. Well see how healthy it really is.

I know I got a soft spot for it. If it costs me much more money I'm going to set it on fire. Just kidding in case State Farm is reading this.
I know that feeling. In my case, it was 2 bad parts out of the box before I got a good one. Racked my brains for a couple years. All good now, & much better than a hefty vehicle note.

My neighbor has a 1977 4 speed I'm looking at. I'll never get this era of truck again. No offense to the forum.
