Thank you for clarifying that! The ones I had, came off an 800 2500 suburban, that the owner towed an RV and a car hauler with. I think he took them off for wider aftermarket wheels and tires, when the truck was still fairly new. It was still in good shape, in spring 2014 when we got them and an aluminum extension ladder from their moving sale. He knew what he had, so I didn't get them that cheap, but I'd been wanting a set for my 90 R2500 Burb.
But that truck is long gone, so your truck is a much better home for them. I still see those wheels around Houston; just still on trucks!

Yeah, the set I got from you is ridiculously clean and perfect. This set was abused and had a set of 37" Interco TSLs I think it was on them. And they are all peeling and rather poor shape. But they're good enough for now. So happy to have a normal sized tire to throw on Zoe to bring her home with.

Gonna go pick her up today after work. As long as she makes the 100 mile trip home with no issues, I can take care of whatever arises after that point. Gonna get a new windshield in her next week, and do brakes too. Then I can get a safety inspection done, and get her tagged.

Welp, got her home. Just shy of 100 miles from where she was to home. She maintained over 40 psi of oil pressure all the way home.

Found out why she is so loud. Flowmaster Super 10 series. 2 of them. And no tailpipes.

I was wrong about the steering. So, so very wrong. I spent nearly 2 hours chasing her from white line to yellow line.

Rust on the frame is less bad than I thought.

Ride improved drastically with the stock sized tires and PY0s. And de cranking the suspension back to roughly stock.

Interior needs some help. Especially the door bushings. Door popped open to the backup latch on the last turn before the house. I about crapped myself at the bang it made.

Brake light switch is kinda bad. And the taillight circuit boards.

Oh, and in the glove box, was the original owners manual, warranty booklet, key serial tag, window sticker, even the salesman's business card.

Wow, you don't find that kind of provenance too often anymore!
Is it a Texas dealership? I remember, the first 400s I ever saw, was in February 1987 at James Woods in Decatur, on 287, all lined up on the edge of the lot like little soldiers. I don't think they were officially out yet, but they had a bunch of them.
So different and modern looking, compared to the square body trucks....

Yup. Bayer in Comanche Tx. Truck literally lived her entire life registered in either De Leon or Comanche Tx. About a 20 square miles of home turf all this truck's life. Excluding the time spent on a deer lease.

So, didn't manage to get pics today, but I did accomplish actual progress.
Went and washed her, cost me like $15 at the coin op wash. She was filthy deluxe, and it was caked on bad.
And went and bought new bulbs all the way around on the outside, and replaced them.
Then for giggles, I went to go get her inspection done so I could get my fail and repair sheet. Only to be told that she passed. Well color me surprised. Completely and totally surprised. So I now have my inspection cert, so I can take that and get tags for her on Tuesday after work.
So on Wednesday, I plan to get the windshield replaced,.
Then I'm gonna deal with the exhaust hopefully by next weekend. The Flowmaster Outlaw 10 mufflers sound good, really good, at cruise. But they are awful under acceleration. So I intend to go to a dual in dual out Magnaflow. Had one on Autumn and friggin loved it. So that's what I'm gonna go with here. And actual tailpipes to the back. Not open under the cab.
