94 K1500 10 bolt with a G80. No holes to knock pins out?

As title states, usually there are two holes on the ring gear side, But mine does not have them. Trying to tear this thing down due to blown up ring and pinion.

First off, thumbs up to your username @ wafflecakes. Second, I think a pic of what you are asking is necessary to answer the question here. I've rebuilt enough GM rears that I can't count them with both hands, yet I'm not sure what you are referring to.

Could you be more specific?

Why not partially thread in a couple bolts and give them a tap to knock the ring gear off? Don't hit them too hard as they are finely threaded.

Are you talking about the roll pin or set screw that locks the center pin into the spider? Its most likely an allen screw that you access from the flat on one side of the carrier.
